During his time at the University of Minnesota Nate had the oppurunity to work alongside and learn from some of the brightest minds in the world of performance. Through this experience, it became apparent that the world of performance needs to move in a different direction: and thus Meathead Scientist was born. The idea that performance professionals are more than meatheads- we actively influence human performance through a blend of high level scientific fields.
Cam Razzano M.S., CSCS
Performance Coach
Cam Razzano has been in the athletic performance industry for 8 years. Stops along the road include Indiana University, Stanford University, the University of Minnesota, and Butler University. He has worked with athletes competing in a wide variety of sports and competitive seasons. Having been to several universities and had numerous mentors, there are commonalities when training athletic populations: we must develop robust physical qualities and be prepared for the demands of the sport. Training methods are tools. Knowledge is knowing that X tool helps with X problem. Wisdom isknowing not to use X tool to help with Y problem. Thus, Cam draws inspiration from those he’s worked under to find the most efficient, effective methods to get each athlete to get as close to their potentialas possible.
